Our Humanitarian Efforts

In addition to her practice and taking care of her family, Dr. Diana strongly believes in giving back to the community. “It is important to the entire team that we donate our time and talents each year toward a worthy cause.” Each year, members of the team suggest possible humanitarian causes in which to participate. One of their ongoing interests is Providence House, a crisis nursery for children under five years of age, located in Cleveland.

Last year, Dr. Diana and her team members flew to New Orleans to support the New Orleans Mission of Mercy, providing dental care to the many victims of Hurricane Katrina. “This mission was suggested by my amazing hygienists. They researched the mission and made the arrangements. It was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives.”

In 2001, Dr. Diana was a member of Project Sunshine. This group of area doctors traveled to Russia to provide medical and dental care to over 700 children in orphanages.

To celebrate their tenth year in practice in 2001, Dr. Diana and her team participated in the Chicago Marathon and Portland Oregon Marathon as members of Team in Training. Their fund raising efforts benefited the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation of Northeast Ohio.

Most recently, the staff participated in “Give Kids a Smile Day” at Case Western Reserve University, providing dental care for Cleveland’s underserved children. “I am very proud of my office staff and their altruistic efforts. Their enthusiasm is contagious and when they involve themselves in a project, they give 110%.”
